ZC MOTOR PROBLEMS!
Ok I am really pissed off here at my car. I have rebuilt this motor and now out of no where it does work. So I am going to explainb what I replaced and fixed and than the syptoms it has. Hopefully one of you guys might know cuz I am more of a B series guy. I have a 1990 dx crx rewired for for muti - fuel injection. The car throws to codes. I rebuilt the ZC with new headgasket, new timing belt, new oil pump and water pump. Than I installed stage 2 crespo cams, AEM fuel rail AEM fuel pressure regulator and a Ported Y8 manifold and it has a DC sport header. The car ran great for one month than.....THIS **** STARTED TO HAPPEN. The car would not idle good, and it took me like two minutes to get the car to start. So i replaced the distributar with a Brand new one from a 89 integra, new sparks plugs and wires. Still the car wont start good. Than this started to happen the car would blog all the way to like 4 grand than start to move. So I checked timing the Motor is at TDC and the only way igntion timing is true if I advance it all the way than the belt and the pulley line up for the gun. So I than I thought it was fuel, fuel pressure is at 36 or 38 the injectors are new and are clicking so they are good. This is where I am stuck I cant get the car to even turn over anymore....IF anyone can help please post if not the motor is for sale LONG BLOCK WITH STAGE 2 CLUTCH AND 11lb FLYWHEEL FOR $900....please help or its for sale and swapping in the 16 valve si motor!
