Alright the long awaited carbon/kevlar fuel pump covers are finally done! I will have the carbon fiber versions ready on Tuesday. These are 1 layer of Dupont kevlar and 2 layers of 5.7oz carbon fiber. These are the thickest and strongest on the market. There is NO fiberglass in these. They are also made with epoxy based resins. Everything is put in the mold dry then immense vacuum pressure is added. Then we inject the resin into and air free environment. This uses very little resin. Resin is your weakest part of a laminate. The less resin the stronger it is.
