EF B series guys...... Question on winter heating?
I have a ef hb with stock b18c1. I live in MN. Winters are typically 5F to 15f.
I'm using OEM thermo & stock EF radiator.
how long does it take for your EF to heat up internally to ideal point.
Also with the heat blower on how long does it take before the car blows inside hot air?
TIA
Charlie

I had a stock setup with a b20 swap and it heated to norm range in 2-3 minutes. But that may seemed crazy fast but its true.
i have a b16a with fluidnye and electric fan and when it was 15 degress the other day, it took about 15min for it to start getting close to opeining the thermostat(stock)
I don't have a B series motor but I know on my stock D15 it takes what seems like 10 minutes at a steady idle to warm up. And I get it moving and drive very carefully (as I normally do when I drive it cold) it gets there a little faster.
I have a gsr CRX and i used the original crx radiator and the b18c original thermostat and its about the same as before the swap
