CF front lip does not fit, is there a way to fix this???
I ordered a Carbon Fiber Front Lip for my Honda Civic 99-00...
The carbon fiber lip doesn't even come close to fitting on my car.. it's for the right car,
but it's all warped and when one side of the carbon fiber lip is placed on the bumper.. the other side of the lip sticks out about 6 inches from touching the bumper..
Is there a way I can fix this?
it's the abs plastic mugen style front lip wrapped in carbon fiber..
I complained, and they're telling me i need to take pictures of it, send it to them.. see if they approve.. then they'll tell me to wrap the lip better than it was wrapped and ship it back to them with MY cost and they will inspect the lip as if I were lying about it.. and then if it passes the inspection.. i will get the lip.. but they will NOT reimburse me for the extra shipping cost..
they told me i could go to a body shop and get the back of the lip heated and it will flex to fit the bumper.. is this true? does anyone know a body shop that can do it and how much it might cost?
but i was still mad because I paid for a lip that fits..
if anyone has any advice.. let me know!
let me know if you can fix this for cheaper than shipping the lip back..!
thanks!

you can heat abs plastic lips to fit.. like when they ship abs plastic lips they fold them in half to save on shipping costs.. so u gotta bust out your heat gun on those things

Cheap lips come folded in half. You order an oem Honda lip, or a J's Mugen Spoon, something along those lines, it's going to come in a big box, in its original shape.
I hate to say it, but you get what you pay for, body panels aren't something you want to cheap out on.
