do it yourself polyurethane motor mounts
i was thinking about buyin some polyurethane that i could pour into my motor mounts to make some. i have searched and seen it done but i cant find out what kind of polyurethane to use. some help would be appreciated thanks
This is very old but for some reason has popped up as the newest trend. Anyway you need to get 3m windshield weld. You could pick it up at any napa, advanced, or local auto body stores.

It doesn't matter too much what type, just that it fills the area well. There's too much poly in there when filled completely for much to squish out, which translates into little movement. And the best way to do it is to fill it in layers, not all at once. I had to fill in a 1"x1"x5" void once, and took a week to dry on the inside.

you use 3m windsheild weld as an addition, so you have regular mounts.. and you just fill it with the weld to keep them in place.. the 3m thing is suppose to help with wheel hop...
