Can you put hyperwhite bulbs in the rear tailights of a 2000 Lude?
Okay the story is that, I find out that inside the 2 rear tailights of my the 2000 Lude, there is an orange WTF? My car is the Canadian Lude, do we have different rear tailights up here?
So now how am I going to put hyperwhites into my rear tailights?
I should have asked if anyone who own a 2000 Lude ever put hyperwhites in there rear tailights?
But any ideas to solving this?

eh...
...if the light bulbs are orange, simply replace them with the hyperwhites. as long as the hyperwhites are the right type [check your prelude manual if you're not sure], you should be A OK... or at least i think so. i know this can be done with 2000 civics... but have never seen them on preludes.
...if the rear taillight lens is orange, you can still stick the bulbs in there... but you aren't gonna get the true hyperwhite look. to get that look, get new taillights or make em into clear taillights.
hope i answered your question...

hyperwhites are great for backup lights, i have koito tail lights in my R(look same as stock, but come with hyperwhites in backups) and its much easier to see when backing up at night, not sure on if you can do it to a prelude or not, but its worth a try and might as well do your backups too
