hey, i've been posting a lot lately in this forum, but im kinda new to civics and i just got one so im trying to learn, i have an '88 civic hatch SE. One of my friends ordered a short ram for his '87 civic and ended up getting one for an 88-89, so he told me i could have it for $50. right now, i only have the stock intake, and i was wondering if i should get the $50 short ram from him, or just keep my stock intake till i get some money for a Cold Air. I also live in canada, so we have pretty bad winters up here which concerns me acout the cold air.

just get the short ram....later on you can make your own cold air intake

 

I second that, it's what I am doing. Why spend $150 dollars on a CAI when you can make one for $20 that works just as well?
