well i've had the teins on my car for a while now
since the day my friends and i installed them, i've been having problems

installation:
one of the studs on the front coils was a little bent due to improper packaging
i was so anxious to get them on since it was my first mod, i said expletive it
the fitment wasn't the greatest for the bent coil, so i pulled out a drill and started shaving away at my firewall
got the coil in, everything else went smoothly
hope this isn't the problem

also, i am dropped approximately 1.5 fingers in the front, 2 in the rear
i have a feeling that this drop resulted in a lowered angle of the tie rods, and this stress is causing the creaking sound
therefore, if i raise it up = no or less creaking?

help me out, **** is annoying
btw, coils perform great in the twisties
need some stickier tires, p zero nero m+S = ****

TTT, gonna work on my car soon since im on break
for winter break

 

I have Tein Basics and once in a while they creak too.. After I rode them hard on the bumps.. But just raise it up to see what happens, if the creaking stops...

 

its prolly just the pillow mounts making the noise.many have said they are noisy and make the ride a tad stiffer. if it is a popping noise its the springs.
