clicking noise from rear drum
okay so like a year and half ago, i made a sharp right turn and my rear passenger wheel hit the curb and like after i can hear a clicking noise when i brake sometimes. and i think it got worst, cuz now i hear it all the time. everytime i brake or go over pot holes, or speed bumps i hear the click. just wondering, how can i fix this? would removing the drum and reinstalling it, fix it?
thanks
thanks
take the drum off and remove all of the loose metal in there..make sure that nothing os broken or missing in there as well.
edit: since you smacked a curb get the wheel bearing checked out

Before you remove the wheel (with it off of the ground) try to rock the wheel in all directions. You may have damaged your wheel bearing. But something is definately messed up you should check it out before something serious happens.
thanks. ill try to move the wheel around. just wondering how much would the wheel bearing cost me?
btw i only hear it when im braking. when the car is in motion i dont hear anything.
