Ok, so im in the process of installing one peice headlights right now and i ran into a problem, i can't remove the headlights without removing the bumper, but i cant get to the last 2 screws on the bumper (the only 2 left are the ones under the headlight lenses) without removing the headlights. Are you sure they are under the headlights? I don't know the 2nd generations too much, but most cars I've worked on, there are "hidden" screws/bolts that you can reach under the fender area toward the front of the car. Did you remove the fender liner and look in there toward the front?

In the 3rd gens, there are about 2 in there that many people forget.

I did it without removing the front bumper, but i would recommend removing it. Easier in some cases.

A LOT easier if you ask me. And besides, it's really easy to take off the bumper anyways.
