hey I am doing an EX power window/lock/mirror swap into my 2000 DX. I have all the wiring and door panels but I need to order the computer that runs the relays for them. I called up the local Honda place and they have 3 computers, one behind the kicker, one below the steering wheel and one inside the door. I thought I only needed one, can someone clarify which ones I would need to complete my install?? I am wondering because im pretty sure one is for keyless entry or something like that?? Can someone help me? Thanks.

i dont think they are run by any computers at all, just relays and switches. I dont see why they would be controlled my any computers anyway. Buy and haynes or helms for your civic, it should have a nice run down of that system. good luck.

 

there is no computer as i know of, you just need all the switches and relays....and you should be fine

 

yeah dude its ran off the ecu. like i think its only c that runs like the windows and ****.

 

nono you need an integrated control unit i think, 3 relay boxes, can someone who KNOWS WHAT THE **** THEYRE TALKING ABOUT please help, thanks.

 

its behind your driver door panel on an integra, like a purple brown coloured box

 

if you want to be pissy about it why dont you just spend the money and buy a repair manual. or go to the library, they do have them their as well. Mine isnt controlled by a computer.

 

will the power windows still work when i put in my dfi? while we're on the subject, will my gauge cluster?
