Default Another OBD2-OBD1 Conversion

Well I have looked and looked and most of my answers have been answered thanks to the "Search" button. Well my last questions that haven't seemed to be answered are..
1)Will the only parts I need are the OBD2-A to OBD1 Wiring Harness and a ECU that is P28?
2)Car has Intake, Header, Exhaust, will it be affected better or for worse?
*So far I know it affects better if the ECU is chipped and the car will be tuned.
3)Phearable.net sells them chipped, but is it worth or just getting piece by piece in other places?

My car is a 1997 Honda Civic EX with a D16Y8 with I/H/E. Looking to go all motor and put in D16A1 Pistons to raise compression, and Port and Polish, Camshaft + Camgear, etc. Anyone thanks for your comments in advance and for all the Flammers sorry for bieng a newb Got to start somewhere.

get a jumper harness and a p28 its the easiest way to go. boomslang makes awesome products thats who's i have used over the years.

as for the single cam all motor, i know nothing about single cams i have never worked with one just yanked them out and threw them away, with all that work i would just toss a GSR in your car and start with that.

btw people don't flame me or bitch at me because i don't like single cams just my way of doing things

I thought exactly as you have stated the first thing is to swap into a GSR but money is a issue for me so thats out of the question so I thought of a decent thing and after reading a D Series can be a power punch with little modification. As for the Jumper Harness..What is that? Same thing as the Wiring Harness?

no a jumper harness plugs into where your ECU would plug into and then on the other end you plug the ecu into it, and its done, instant obd1

1)Will the only parts I need are the OBD2-A to OBD1 Wiring Harness and a ECU that is P28?

yes, conversion harness and ECU (does not need to be p28 if chipped)

2)Car has Intake, Header, Exhaust, will it be affected better or for worse?
*So far I know it affects better if the ECU is chipped and the car will be tuned.

if its bolt ons stock ecu is fine. If you are going with the NA build up or boost later on its simply more cost effective to go with chipped ECU now and simply have jumper or run a stock or semistock chip.

3)Phearable.net sells them chipped, but is it worth or just getting piece by piece in other places?

there is many places (check my sig - shamless plug - I'll try to beat and match any price) other places such as FF-squad (Katman), Kenji are options as well
