JDM ITR 23mm sway bar question
Does anyone know if i will have fitment issues if i try to install a jdm 23mm ITR rear sway bar on my DC2...i have an apex ws catback...its not the ws2, its the first version of the catback, i wanted to buy the swaybar...but i feel like i read somewhere that there will be fitment issues with this catback...can anyone tell me for sure?
found a thread about it...but i still dont know if anyone has put it on a DC2...in the thread ppl are talking about putting the bar on upside down...does anyone know if this will affect performance in any way??

When you flip the swaybar upside down, it dosent change the stiffness so you are ok. Just pay attention to the clearance of the swaybar arm in relation to the LCA.
If you do not currently have any fitment issues with the stock rear swaybar, you will not have any problems with the JDM 23mm rear swaybar.
The 23mm bar is going to be 4.5mm closer to your exhaust than your stock 14mm bar. Just look underneath & see if you have that much room to grow.
Your going to need some subframe reinforcment to go with that large rear bar. The ITR has a specail rear subframe to keep the 22mm bar from tearing out.
Personally I would go with a kit like A-Spec Racing or Comptech. There are other options that are cheaper, but not everyone is sure how well they protect you...

DO NOT, DO NOT, put the swaybar on upside down. The swaybar will bind up and make for an "interesting" handling car.
