Default Radius rod problems..

89 crx SI-

The part of the radius rod where it bolts up to the front lower control arm, the bolt holes are not lining up with the holes on the control arm..I can get one bolt in,but then the other bolt is completely off..I've tryed jacking up the hub and using a clamp on the control arm and lca to get both holes to line up with no luck..It drives with the one bolt and everything but I don't get it..I got the right part..The new radius arm part # is the same as the old one,,Its connected to the crossmember correctly and and the bushings are the right way..HElp

I've never messed with the radius rod before but maybe you could try bolting it to the LCA first then tighten it up in the crossmember?

What he said! Same thing I did. FWIW, I would look for any bent frame/suspension components while you are under there.

there should be some slop in the lca bushing you should able to move it untill it lines up. I've never had a problem with this either, the car might have been hit. the good news, if it was hit, like mine was, I just replaced both x-members, and now everything is straight.

That' good to hear..Because I have a whole other crossmember..The junkyard wouldn't sell me just the radius rod,,So I ended up buying the whole crossmember/radius rods assembly..
