2.5 straight piping with Apexi N1 muffler. Does anybody have this setup? How does it sound? Any increase in power?

 

I think this set-up will sound very loud. If there is any power increase it will only be 1 or 2 HP

 

well, it will be extremely loud with a straight pipe alone...also illegal.

My friend is running a straight pipe with a 5zigen muffler. I drove it a couple times and it's freakin loud, but i kinda got used to it after a while. It had some good power to it too. Now isn't the 5zigen much louder than the Apexi N1? If i'm right then the N1 shouldn't be too bad.

 

I have a straight pipe on my tanabe RM and I can crack body kits at WOT.

 

it will rumble i love the sound of that especially wit a built engine u will love it

 

I have the apexi N1 muffler and a straight pipe on my EG hybrid. It's not that bad as long as your are not always pedal to the metal. If anything, the smell of the exhaust fumes is worse then the sound. As long as you are easy on the gas, it's not thaty loud but once at WOT, be prepared to scared some grannies on the road!

 

YEAH SAME HERE THE EXHAUST FUMES I HATE IT!! sound is very deep.. i noticed a increase in power..

 

Fumes? I didn't really smell anything in my friends EK. Is it because you guys have an EG or is that how all straight piping is.
