A blow off valve will do nothing until it's under boost.

no. there is no use for it on a N/A car.

function is to release pressure from the intake tract of a turbo car when the throttle closes. It is a vacuum-actuated valve designed to releases the air to the atmosphere.


btw, do you want it just for the sound?

yea i wanted to get one for just for the sound..i know it aint gonna do much before i get some boost but yea.. just wanted one for the sound.

i mean if you really want this then that's your decision, but IMO it's stupid and ricey as hell.

unless your car is boosted it wont make sound.
i saw awhile ago in superstreet a microphone that made the sound of a blowoff valve, u could try searching google for it.

Actually I am sure you could find some pipe or something to attach a BOV to but obviously it won't do anything at all. It is only needed on a turbocharged vehicle so please don't make people think you have a turbo when you don't and get extremely embarassed when some crappy car beats you terribly in a race.
