Default High speeds plus steering wheel equals shaky

Ok so , this might not be a big deal, it might be normal, who knows. Ill ask anyways

i have a 1997 SE auto accord. about 153 k miles , it does need an oil change.

My front tires were just replaced (back didnt need it) and all my lug nuts are tight, so i dont think a tire is falling off. WHen im going 0-40 nothing happends with in my steering whell.. 50-60 my steering wheel kinda shakes.. and anything higher (nothing about 80) my steering wheel shakes kinda bad.. i mean not like bad like its about to fall off and the H isnt shaking so bad where i can tell.. its just in my hands i can tell. Its been going on for awhile but never really bad at all, it feels like it has gotten worse (noticed i said FEEL, feeling dynos are always wrong) i dont know if its b.c im not use to it no more sense i dont drive that much sense its winter and im new to virginia (use to live in texas until a week ago) or what.. Im just a little concerned..

anything will help..

again this has just started happening, it never did really at all before, a little bit but hardly noticable unless u acually concentrated on it.. but now u can just tell, i mean my hands after sslowing down were kinda numb.. from all the fast pased shaking

I had a problem with balancing aftermarket wheels and larger tires before. Goodyear (where I bought the tires) and sears (where I got the wheels) could not even get the balance close. I ended up paying $128 for a large GM dealership to balance them, but at least they got it right. Usually when you have a balance problem, it is mostly between 60 to 80mph. Could also be bad belts in tires, I suppose.

hmm.. i guess i should have mentioned.. that they are stock rims and tires (well not litterally stock tires.. sense they are new, they arent low pros, is what im saying) .. i guess the balancing does make sense.. i am wondering if the place that changed them, shouldnt they have balanced them? if not.. i dont have the money now to do it.. is it a big problem.. or is it something that should be done asap.?

does it feel like it is shuddering as well? so the only thing that is different is the steering wheel, and have you notice a change in MPG?

when my EGR valve was clogged, the steering wheel would shake.

If you bring it back to the same place, maybe they can do a better job the second time. Some tires are harder to balance than others too. It won't hurt anything, just your fingers (from being numb) haha. If the problem was there before the new tires, I would sugest checking the suspension, guess it couldn't hurt to check. I least it wouldn't cost anything to check it out. While I was down there I would also check brake pads, and driveshaft boots. Just some ideas, do what you think is right.

hmm i will check the suspense and everything else.

I am thinking its the balancing, b.c before the new tires were put it on, it wouldnt shake hardly if at all) now like i said it is just noticable.. just hoping my car wont fall apart while driving.. Thanks for the replys..
