How do I reset the maintenance light?

How do I reset the maintenance light?

Not in the manual and I searched. It just to just blink, now its solid. How the hell do I reset it?

1. put key in
2. hold down the trip button
3. turn key to ON position
4. continue to hold the trip button until maintenance light disappears

Ah I did that. Probably didnt hold the button long enough.

you hold it until it goes out, takes 15-20 seconds

That i've already done> Thanks ..I was just curious as to what mileage intervals does the light turn on.

do you have the honda service manual? because if so it is in there.
it happened to me and i did exactly as the above guy stated

Yup, I got the light to go off, but the owners manual is missing.... its cool, i'll just wait and see when it comes back on.
