Tell me what you can tell me. I know its a d16y7 and I knew a few things about it, but inform me of all the little things.

Also, will any 96-00 head unit fit? I need a cd player.

Also, installing a tach, is there a difference? Like a manual or electronic tach? If so, which would I want?

 

what would a dx engine rev too? Cause I found a cheap tach that revs to 8000, but 7000 being redline.

 

i have a 97 dx also. If you want you car to be really clean, buy a gauge cluster from a civic ex and put it in your civic. It has a tach included in the cluster. But if you want to buy a seperate tach, redline on a y7 is 6800.

another option is to just buy a shiftlite. and i dont know about the manual or electronic tach
