I have taken the drive shaft out of the inner cv on the drive is the cross and bearings I don't know what you guys call them can't find anything searching. Anyway how do you get the cross off? Is it circliped or anything mine a covered in grease I can't see very well.

If you are speaking of that tri-pod which holds the bearings to the shaft, then there is a retaining clip which holds that in place, right above (well, towards closest end of shaft) where the tri-pod is. Remove the clip so that you don't damage it (snap ring pliers), as most rebuild kits don't come with the clips.
Install in reverse.
