Default what size pipe for primary runners? Intake manifold w/ goodies

Im trying to get a good idea of what size pipe to order. Im going to use the RMR 2" stacks and then get some 2" aluminum tapered down to the port size. The intake is for a neon... so bare with me. lol. the port looks like this and the head port size is 33mm tall and 48mm wide or approx 1 3/8" tall and 1 7/8" wide. This was by taking the measurement with calipers on the inside of the port. my question is what size pipe should I use to mate the runners to the intake manifold flange. keep in mind the intake manifold should be smaller than the head port.
please disregaurd the gasket...its is a SRT-4 gasket.

i also took a piece of string and ran it around the port(not including the injector bump) and its circumference is 5" so if that were perfectly round ...as my pipe will be C= Pi*d so 5/3.14159 =~ 1.59 ~ 1 5/8=1.58 So.... I think a runner from 2" at the stack that tapers down to 1 5/8" ID will be perfect. now to figure out what kind of room I have to work worth... and what kind of taper I want...and how long the runners should be :-P

you guys think that sounds about right? and remember I can always port it bigger

here is a picture of the stack... takes 2" 1/8" thick aluminum pipe. ID of stack is 1.88. So my taper will be from 1.88 to 1.58"

Yeah, these are the 2.0" stacks. They have the Part number RMR-044-200 on them.

33x48mm gives you a perimeter distance of 133.673mm you want a pipe with the id the same circumference as that, or tapered to that where it meets the head flange.

a 42.56mm id gives you a circumference distance of 133.706mm so you want something close to that.
