need some blinker help!

Default need some blinker help!

i was driving yesterday and all of the sudden the left side blinker comes on and stays on.... i get out the car and the front and rear blinkers are on full bright... not blinking but just on.... any remedy for this... the bulb seems to be good... i'm not to familiar with this type of stuff... any help appreciated... thanks

I saw that this thread made it all the way to the second page without a response, so I thought I'd give it a go.
I suspect the directional lamp relay/flasher.
If the directional switch were bad, they would either not select L/R, or would not turn off (but would flash)
the lights staying on bright indicates the relay's Timer function has failed; and is not allowing the relay to release (turn the element off)
Although remote, the possibility exists that the l/s multifubction switch may have an issue as well (Cuz you didn't mention the switch position at the time of failure). But I'd look at the Relay/Flasher first

I would concur with P_Adams
I also go a bit further. Push your 4 way flasher button (hazzard lights) and see if it makes any difference.

p_adams X2 but with a twist. I would check all of the solder joints on your current flasher and re solder if needed before you repace it........
