well in the picture the bolt pattern looks like 12o'clock and 6o'clock. in my car the bolt pattern is more at 10 and 4. i had similar strut bars in my gsr and it didnt fit on the shock bolts. there was two oem holes from honda for the gsr stock strut bar. so do you think this will still fit from how i describe it?

i would set it in your bay near where it will mount and snap pics... this will get you the best answers/assistance. because sometimes its hard to explain things.

well the picture is from an auction on ebay. i didn't want to post the auction cuz that was against the rules so i post the picture itself. i email the guy and he told me it should fit on the shock bolt. but here's a pic of what my eingine bay looks like (not mine, taken from jdmlyfestyle.com) my shock bolt pattern looks like that though.

it doesnt go on top of your struts, it goes on the outer part of the struts. just like where the OEM gsr strut bar goes. not on top of the struts

You probably need to drill the holes then. On my strut towers, they're filled in also.

I have the exact same model hatch. You don't need to drill. It will fit your car. You should also should consider a strut bar that has no pivot points.

i have a 92 cx hatch and i have the same one , fits fine. here is a pic or a similar set up NOT MINE but shows how it fits...

the 12 and 6 o'clock bolt your thinking of are not where it mounts at all there is another mounting spot underneeath them that bolt directly to the stock strut mounts

I have the same problem with my '94 CX, one of the holes on each side is off center. But then again, like GRIP KING said, mine are also filled in and need to be drilled out.

If you look hard enough it looks like that bar has the "moon shaped" piece you need underneath. Like in this pic (taken from ebay):

you might not have to drill the holes sometimes they have the plastic plugs in them that you just pop out and go to Home Depot and get some 1in bolts with locking nuts and you good then
