I might be wrong here, but it might be the fact that you have a dual exhaust on a 2.2 liter 4cyl engine. Depending on how you have it set up, which is most likely at least 2'' piping going to both tips, you are losing backpressure and in turn you are losing power. If the car hasn't been having any other issues that you can think of that's my thought on what might be causing your issue. GL and keep us updated.

no, I never had a problem with the dual exhaust I had it for about 3 or 4 years now, but im going to upgrade the fuel system. I heard AEM has good fuel components should I try them.

We sometimes saw this complaint on built up Detroit Iron; and it usually revolved around intake / carburetion selections.
True, we're now talking of intakes and throttle bodies, but the principles are the same.
You didn't mention T/B's, but a combination of both the Intake and a Larger T/B could be too large for the RPM the engine is operating in.
It would act much like putting a 900cfm Holley Double Pumper on a 2 liter Pinto motor and flooring it in forth at 30mph. You'd hear an awful lot of howling from under the hood, enough to have neighboring Dogs start singing, but you'd go absolutely nowhere!!
Try bumping it down a gear range and see if it livens up.
