I believe all the OEM mid-wings have the 3rd break light on them.

On Ebay they have them painted for about 159. Just type civic si spoiler in the search.

then it's technically not the Si spoiler, you just want some big high looking spoiler

I'm sure EBay has something that you're looking for. However, the wing you're looking for is NOT OEM.

That's a contradiction. There is no such thing as a 96-00 mid-wing without a breaklight. You're looking for a generic, no name mid-wing for your car.

I already looked on EBay, and could only find ones with LED brake lights.

Why don't you just get the OEM Si spoiler with the light and connect the wiring from the spoiler to the wiring from the light inside the window(using a 3 way connector), so that you don't have to turn off any lights? It should only be like 2 wires.

It won't look stupid, it will look OEM, because that's exactly how every '99-'00 Civic coupe with the optional spoiler looks.

1) Why not remove the breaklight which is in the window?? On my EG I can remove mine.

2) If worse comes to worse, remove the light from the OEM wing and refinish it using bondo or something.

Those are the two options I'm seeing...

why not just unplug the light on the rear deck

all coupes with spoilers already have a rear deck light AND a spoiler light anyway

dude just unplug the freakin bulb for the 3rd brake light in the window.

because that spoiler might just be the right hieght that it will interfier with the light from the 3rd brake light in the window and maybe you will get pulled over for that , just do it the right way besides those spoilers look stupid without a 3rd brake light in them.
