Default Opinions on L.E.D. Underbody kits

Was just wondering about some of your personal thoughts on L.E.D. Underbody kits. I personally think their better than Neon purely because you don't have to worry about cracking a tube.

What do you think you would like on the car? ask yourself that. All that matters is what you will like, not others.

I will vouche for an underbody kit that goes way past ricer into first class. I won't buy it, but its made by...oh I forget...anyways its $800, and might I say its impressive. It comes with a lifetime warranty, and comes with a control module that basically generates 2 million colors that can race, blend, flash, whatever you want, to whatever beat. Perfect kit fora guy like you, however, I'd rather spend $800 on a Quaife.

True, it is a tech forum, but i say expletive all these tools who are saying just because it doesnt make you go fast. I guarantee you at least half of the haters on this thread have at least $200 wrapped up in shifter boots/e-brake handles/colored lug nuts/colored valve covers/aftermarket steering wheel/aftermarket seats/JDM parts/Body kits/etc.

Everytime I've seen someone with an underbody kit, they're done right and they look *NICE*. You dont have to strobelight 40 million colors that dance to your latest Britney Spears album (a.k.a. pop-rice), they just should be the same color as your car.

There's a red Toyota Matrix around my way with an underbody red kit and a Silver Civic with a silverish/white kit. Both of those are off the hoook! Just please, dont get neon green or you'll make me feel like a dumbass for siding with you......

I used to have a set. If I ever but another kit again (waste of money, but to each their own). It would be strictly the tube light, the tube lights are MUCH brighter than the LEDs.

I believe he was referring to which one was better quality, as in more brighter. And not what we thought of underbody neon in general. So, yourself.

OMG somebody likes something that I don't like.....therefore it must be wrong. *sigh*

To the original poster. IF you are trying to find out which is better (LED vs neon tube) I would try doing a search it the appearance/cosmetic forum. Sadly you cannot post there until your trial period is over.

good luck

This your first post?

And why shouldn't he do it? Because you think it's gay? It's his car, let him do what he wants to it.

I think the neons are brighter then the led's. Too bad they dont make those in a flexible plastic tube rather then the prone to break glass.

Anyhow just an FYI here in Wisconsin, most of those are illegal, depending on the color I belive the only legal ones are white, yellow or red.
