I wanted to try to bend some 3/4 tubing 1/16th think into a right angle but when i do the tube just kinks. Im using a cheep bottle jack type bender. people told me this thing works, not good.... but works. i tried using the "fill with sand and cap it" and then bend it and it still kinks. maybe im using the wrong material of tubing or something... or something else..

any ideas??

 

Get a draw bender..You cant use a bow and arrow style.. Your backup s to go get a conduit bender,,

If GRM would publish my article you would know more...

 

you think a conduet bender would work on 3/4 inch tube..?? its about the same size but the tube i think is alot harder??

 

bottle jack benders suck. buy one of these and you'll be good. http://www.jd2.com/ the conduit bender should work too since your only bending 3/4". just buy a jd2 it's a good investment if you will be doing more bending on larger tube.
