I know Honda engines have that tap/knock to them in the head, but mine on my freshly installed B16 (my first B16) sounds a little loud I think. My previous Del Sol had a D16 and it was not as loud of a tapping noise as the B16, is this normal or does something need adjusted. Thanks

 

maybe you should adjust your valves.

 

yea-- ticking is usually valve lack/tick which needs adjustment....

 

I have a horrendous tapping/ticking noise coming from b16a head even with the valve clearance etc being done so it can't be that.....
