93 Coupe with rear rust Q:
I checked this thread https://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=1237275 and others like it to see if there were anything for coupes but it seems it was just for hatches and sedans. i also checked this site http://www.rustrepair.com/ but i couldn't find the rear wheel arc for the coupe. Would it be possible to use the one from the hatch and modify it to fit? any help woud be appreciated.
There are quite a few ways to fix the problem.
1. cut the section you need off of another coupe from a salvage yard.
2. get a complete quarter section(expensive)
3. cut out the rust then use sheet metal and built the section from scratch
etc, etc.
I'm sure you could get a hatch section and modify it. I've seen a guy use a front fender, cut it up, reshape it a bit, and use it.
Before you buy anything, I would recommend taking to your body guy and letting him decide which way he wants to do it.
