battery works but when i turn da key nothing happens no sound or nothing but when i jump start it cars turn on and when i turn it off and try to turn it on again same thang happens engine wont start anyone knows wuts wrong?

 

check your alternator. when the car is running disconnect the battery and if it turns off you have a problem with your alternator. If it continues to run then its your battery.

 

Alternator is a possibility, but if it was then when you tried to start it up again you should of at least heard the starter solenoid firing. (it clicks each time you turn the key). IMO its the starter. Jump the car and let it charge up from the cables for a while (so that you can make sure its not ur battery). Then after its charged for at least 10 mins. start your car. Then disconnect the battery like boosted said. If it works then reconnect the battery and turn off your car as soon as possible. Try to start it again, if its the battery then you should be able to start up or at the least get the starter solenoid to fire, or a chug, or something. If you try to start it and you get absolutely nothing (and your lights look bright) then its your starter. You can check the connection to see if it's loose but you might have to replace it. GL
