Default Anybody know the stock ride height of a 97 Civic?

I've been running Ground Control sleeves and stock shocks for almost 2 years now, and while they aren't blown...it was time for some legit shocks.

I just bought some KYB AGX's and I want to set ride height at 1.5" to mantain the warranty. Currently the fenders are flush with the tires, but I need to raise it back up to get an accurate measurment. Can anybody help????

Your not going to get much more. The Helms only has measurements from the ground to the roof; which isn't exactly a repeatable measurement:

Coupe: 54.1

Hatch: 54.1

4 Door: 54.7

Besides, the KYBs are junk anyway; so when they blow, you wont want to deal with the warantee.

Eh, didn't mean to sound like such a jerk.

I bought KYBs because of everyone talking them up, and I had even recommended them a few times. Then, less than a year later, I was having handling problems autocrossing, and thought it was my springrates (Eibach Pro-Kits). I picked up the koni / gc combo, and when installing it, found all 4 shocks to be completely destroyed, and I mean destroyed. I'm not sure when they blew out, but it was less than 20K miles.

There are a few people around who have had similar problems with KYBs. I'm pretty sure that a few of those people recommending them are probably blown out, and they just don't realize it.

I've found that alot of people on this board don't know a properly set up and damped suspension from eBay junk.
