if the tranny already has a slave cylinder and lines on it cant you just hook something to the hydro line instead of putting on the hydro to cable conversion?

Mind that a clutch fluid resevoir? If you do, hook it right up, but you don't, and it's not possible (firewall clearance) to run an OEM pedal set and use a Hydro set up in our chassis without cutting bits out of said firewall.
