ive searched already and didnt anything similar to my problem. i have a 93 prelude h22a1. i recently changed my clutch/flywheel/clutch cylinder/fluid/fresh gear oil. about a week ago. i needed new right axles. so when i put it on it had a little rumble everything i took off 1st or 2nd. happened to be the wrong axle. so today i picked up the correct axle. put it in, and everything was working fine.. i drove around and did my little errands driving normally. when i got home. got ready to go out again. i started up my car and usually when i start my car up i shake my shifter to see if i left it in any gear but for some odd reason. the shifter wouldnt move to the left. where 1st and 2nd gear is. i pulled it and everything trying to get it in gear but wont budge. im assuming that my tranny is done. but i want someone who knows wassup to confirm it for me.

fluid wouldn't prevent the lever from moving at all. check all the transmission shift cables. something may have gotten in the way of the cables, and is preventing the shifting mechanism from moving in a certain direction. maybe when you were driving around a bolt or something came loose and now its in the way.

 

yea i dont thnk my transmission is gone but someone mentioned something about my shift fork. anyone else with any input. thanks!
