Default Installed my custom shift light on my h22 crx

I needed a shift light pretty bad...I bought this shift light off ebay, who says you cant buy decent stuff on ebay? It was cheap too and adjustable on the back. LED. Pretty simple hookup after some thinking of what power source to splice into. Soldier in.

Red wire splices into yellow wire under column plastic under the dash.
Green wire splices into blue wire on the far left side on the tach. connection plug the only solid blue wire.
Black wire is ground.

It took about an hour. I was pretty happy with the outcome so thought id post. Real clean install too. I get a kick out of the HF 5k rpm redline, my vtec aint til 5500 . Next thing I need is a jdm or ukdm gauge cluster that registers 9k rpm...

Looks good and if it helps you out. I can't believe that you didn't have some sort of shift light or tach with the H22 in there.

How much did you get the shift light for? I have a Harlan shift light mounted in my center air diffuser, which is completely adjustable (DIP switches located inside the light casing) and lights up with blue LEDs. It's about the size of a roll of quarters.

Looks good man.

I like them a little more stealth, like behind the air vents. But if you like it, that's what matters!

I agree. You can't see it until it lights up, and when it does, DAMN. My Harlan light has seven blue LEDs and it's like DAYLIGHT in there at night. I have some installed pics somewhere...

Killer price tho. I paid $75 for mine.

I was thinking about one of these. Does it look like the LED cluster is extendable? That'd be great if I could mount the switch under the dash and then extend the wires for the LED to inside the vent.
