i know that their manifolds aren't great, but i'd rock their BOV's and wastegates in a heartbeat...but i just cant see myself buying these

ssautochrome also advertises these as type-r camshafts, but w/ the same specs as the link in this thread.
Are these cams definately skunk2 replicas?? Someone knows the specs by heart and im too lazy to look em up.

is anyone going to notify Sk2 that they need a proof reader to edit their website posts?
look at the rpms on their Pro 1 cam ad on their website....

Simple dont buy there crap. What have they sold that doesnt brake or damage other parts. Good luck to those who spend the cash on them but when rocker arms are destroyed or cams start splittin in half they should have already known.
you wouldn't have those problems if you install them properly and break them in properly and use the right oil.
the things is: the specs are screaming turbo/SC cam...not all motor cam....an 00-01 ITR stock cam can do just as well and it's from Honda and if you're all motor, then why bother with them?
but the scare tactic that they'll wear and snap...that's install and maintenance error not product quality.
in the past the cam problems would be about lubricity or how much oil the surface can hold. crap billet cams had surfaces that wouldn't hold the oil and therefore score like summer salmon in spawning heat. Just ask Sk2 about their billet stage 1 cam when they first introduced them from Turkey made cores in the late 90's. Why do you think Dave Hsu switched to japanese core chilled cast?
you can't say that this will happen with these cores by just looking at them. so your quick to judge comment isn't based on any facts.
