LS Rods w/itr pistons
I am building a all-motor ls/vtec and was wanting to know if the ls rods will work all right with itr standard size pistons. I looked up the comp. ratio it is supposed to be 11:5 which seems good for 92 premium pump gas and for a daily drivin motor

jesse</TD></TR></TABLE> Just to chime in. I'm pretty sure you have to have 3 letters or more in each word for it to search.

wat is your oversized piston? .25 oversized? i have the jdm .40 oversized pistons on my ls rods and ls crank, balanced and edged, and its a great build and is strong and was built to last. itll be fine, all i gotta say is make sure who puts it together knows what there doing cause thats wats matters is who puts your motor together.

ls rods and b16a rods have the same small end size, both b16a, b17 and ls rods have to be shaved 1mm on both sides i do believe. gsr, b16b and b18cR rods dont have to be shaved.

read what i wrote again. you have to shave the rods to fit ITR,pct, or gsr pistons IF they are b16a,b17, or ls rods.

^^yea i wasnt stating that he can use those rods, if you read my first post talking about gsrious's post youll get what i mean. he was saying you only have to shave the rod if they are b16a rods, but that is not fully true because you have to shave pr4/p75, b16a, and b17a rods in order to fit ITR, pct, or gsr pistons. i was no where near saying that he cant or should use different rods.
