That's the last step of my rebuild. Stupid me had to buy an LSD from a JDM ITR and now the GSR 4.400 final drive won't fit with the LSD.

Since it's a JDM one, I assume I need a final drive ring gear from a Japanese Type R. Now where the hell am I gonna find one of those??? I need my car running by this weekend!

I need it CHEAP! That's the most important term.

 

 

Its not an ITR LSD if the GSR ring gear wont fit since the GSR and ITR Diffs
have the same bolt pattern.

USDM FD will fit on JDM LSD.

 

That's what I was thinking too. They're also both 4.400. Hmm. Makes me think the spare tranny parts that my friend has are, in fact, an LS, and not a GSR.

Oh well, he's traveling up and down NJ now trying to find one for me.

EDIT: If this doesn't work, I'm gonna hit something!! This is so aggravating. I haven't had a car for nearly 2 months now.
