2nd Gen cross member question..... jdm 4-1's?

I searched but came up empty, but anyways, i am finally undergoing the task of installing my jdm 4-1's and i was wondering if I have to do any modifications to the cross member, and if I do, what? And if it is too hard to do myself, are there any front assembly kits available for the DA?

Yes you have to notch the crossmember a bit in order for it to fit. I don't believe there are any aftermarket crossmembers available for the G2. Beware though, it hangs really low on a G2. I have one on mine and it is dented to hell.

Yes, you do have to modify the x-member to fit. Check my sig for pics.

i removed the crossmember... cut the lip, then i banged on it a bit to push it back, then welded the little seem, ground it down, painted it.. and slapped it on... Its the DC 4-1 2.5 header.. fits nice...
