i kinda have a problem with my car. ever since i got it back it has been acting up. somtimes when im driving and i push down the gas peddle it starts to spudder. i have to push the gas peddle all the way down just for it to move. i don't know what it is but my friend told me to check a few things. he told me to check the o2 sensor but i don't see an 02 sensor on my car, jdm b16a3. at first i thought it could of been my iac or throttle position valve.but it someone could be of some assistance and let me know where i could find the 02 sensor to see if i even have one or if this motor needs one. thanx

 

unless someone had done some major alterations and modifications to convert your fuel injected b16a3 into a carbureted engine you do have and need an O2 sensor. You'll find it in the exhaust manifold or down pipe going from the front of your engine to the back of the engine. It will look similar to a spark plug and have wires coming off of it. You cannot miss it.

 

b16a3 usdm 94 usdm delsol engin, o2 located in exhaust system should be right before your cat. to test for correct reading put a voltmeter on signal wire while caris idleing. must be fully warmed, best if you go for a drive then test soon as you get back. meter should read between .1 and .9 volts. .1 being lean and .9 being super rich. ideal is .45 to .5 volts while at idle

 

yea my dumbass found it...another problem i freakin found was my throttle cable...i think it is the one that came off of my d16y7...i just to adjust the throttle this morning and it didn't adjust it for crap.i dont' even think he bother to put the si throttle cable on there. so know im going to buy an si throttle cable and replace that with an si one. this one is too damn long. but anyway im going to hook up my 02 sensor and see if this is why my car is spuddering. if not i don't know what it is
