i'm looking to pick up a 99 gsr tranny to put in my LS since mine is grinding kinda bad. the guy said it's $450 without shift link and $500 with. how would i know if my shift link is bad and how can i tell if i need a new one.

you dont need a new one if it was bad you would have trouble getting the car in gear....... tell him you have 375 cash or go there with it and pretend you dont have the rest...... 450 for a tranny #$#@$#$@#$@#$@#%$@#$ good luck
