Why are you making it hard? An alternator made for a 1995 accord LX 4cly will work guaranteed.

Because finding the same exact one isn't as easy. I see pletty of used ones from Civic's and integra's around my area locally for cheap. No need in speeding 250dollars for a new one, for a beater car.

http://www.hondaautomotiveparts.com/

You can cross match part numbers using their parts catalog then. If they match, you in luck. Doesnt autozone sell reman alternators at decent pricing?

Just because the part numbers arne't the same, doesn't mean it wont fit. The part number of a h22 doesn't match my car, but it'll fit it.

Civic alternator outputs diff electrical characteristics, about 10amps short no? So, even if it did mechanically fit, doesnt meant it will match the correct output.

You can find a reman alternator locally for the accord prolly for $100-$130 after core.

In addition, the voltage regulator and plug can be completely different for two alternators with the exact same chassis.

Um, why you getting pissy? The alternator on the civic doesnt output the same current. So it wont operate at Accord's spec.
