anyone running these h22 mounts?
I'm sourcing out my vibration problem on my 93 EG so I'm wondering if anybody are running these mounts:

I got them from ebay as the result of a compulsive buy. If you are running these mounts, do you have any vibration problem?

those are pieces of crap, try this:
pull really really hard on the black rubber crap, outwards...it'll pop out.
see how its only about 1/2 inch thick? the steel bushing is going to sag down in those black discs over the course of a year.
so thats what you get with ebay.

with those mounts, vibration isn't the problem
please take them apart while they're out of the car and see what I mean, the black urithane parts only go 1/2 inch in from where you can see them, the middle is hollow, the bushing in the middle that the bolt goes through will sag down 3/4 inch in the first year.
take them apart and tell us what you find. I would recommend filling the inside with some kind of epoxy gel that would not completely harden, or even fill it with urithane if you can find it in some kind of an epoxy 2-part or melting kind you could pour.
Those mounts are ****.
I just filled mine with fiberglass resin, now thats solid! Still wouldn't make my CD player skip (if i even had one) and I don't have balance shafts either.

NO THEY ARE NOT GOOD NO THEY ARE NOT GOOD
look at the driver side mount, the one with the biggest barrel (center in both pics)
see how the OPs has the formed (bent/cheap) metal gusset, and the "for sale" ones have a solid-*** piece of metal.
THIS is the difference between HT supporters and EBAY.
THESE MOUNTS ARE **** DO NOT USE THEM WITHOUT MAKING THEM GOOD DO NOT USE THEM THEY ARE BAD THEY ARE BAD DO NOT USE THEM PLEASE SOMEONE READ WHAT I AM SAYING PLEASE

If the above said ebay mounts are only mere 1/2" rubber grommets, then couldn't/wouldn't just filling in the hollow area with Window Weld[$4.99 a tube @ most hardware stores] and placing a cuff or tube of some sort in the middle be a good way to reduce the sag and overall life of the mount?
BTW, jus bought a set of those mounts, good looking

that will not solve the sagging problem described by mike.

scissors!
now that we're done with the word of the day....
i'd say that as long as what you're filling with cannot possibly stretch over time then it'll be fine, like my fiberglass resin. If you just use calk, for example, over time the mounts will just sag like they were going to without teh calk. I'd recommend JBweld or something harder, but you're not going to get a vibration-free car with those and have the mounts last without the engine sagging.
its what you paid for though, 140 for engine mounts...wow.
you could use a dinnerplate as a flywheel, they're only $10, and you can use those clear tail lights, they are cheap too.
do they make any other cheap car parts for people to buy, i think im going to get on this cheap bandwagon, it seems like a great idea.
i can get so many more parts this way, with them being cheap and all. shoot i can't even tell the difference.

I was talking about useing to stop the vibration, not fill the mounts with it.
