1. 88 Civics did NOT come with carburetion. It is hard as hell to switch from it too, a total pain in the ***. You must mean DPFI.

2. Rephrase that question and ill come back later. I cannot understand a word you are saying. "Down in 'da Hood" is not an acceptable language here.

88's never had carbs...DPFI is the closest thing to it and like the above poster, I can't understand your question.....go to school, learn to type on the internet.

LOL, punctuation is your friend.

True, no carbs in 88', just DPFI.

The fact that they even entertain this idea disgusts me.

People ask for help on this board and get even mildly offended when I say that I truly cannot understand them. Just speak in plain English and I will be glad to help you out.

whats wrong with a little slang and 'hood talk'? and besides i've seen worse on here.

back to topic.

are your running factory distributor?
not gettin spark?
have you tried to pull out a spark plug wire(from the plug, leave the other end connected to the dist.) and point it on the valve cover nut and have someone crank the car and see if
spark jumps to the bolt?

also check if you got a ground wire runing from the valve cover nut to the radiator support.

replace coil?

cap and rotor?

spark plug wires?

spark plugs?
