CIVIC EF HELP
i have a civic 88 it used to be carburator but i put in a si engine the d16a6 on it i did the wiring good i double check it but everything is looks cool but i got a problem the distributor wont trow any spark at all n i fallow the instructions but the wires are are a diff color from what i see any HELP thanks

1. 88 Civics did NOT come with carburetion. It is hard as hell to switch from it too, a total pain in the ***. You must mean DPFI.
2. Rephrase that question and ill come back later. I cannot understand a word you are saying. "Down in 'da Hood" is not an acceptable language here.

are your running factory distributor?
not gettin spark?
have you tried to pull out a spark plug wire(from the plug, leave the other end connected to the dist.) and point it on the valve cover nut and have someone crank the car and see if
spark jumps to the bolt?
also check if you got a ground wire runing from the valve cover nut to the radiator support.
replace coil?
cap and rotor?
spark plug wires?
spark plugs?

the swap is done wiring is done ...
i look it up on the internet how to wire it but my distributor wires look diff from what they say i try it all no spark everyone says is the distributor wiring it cranks but no spark i can take picks if yall can help is a 91 si wiring
