Camber adjustment on a 1990 Accord
I have a 1990 Accord EX sedan and have it lowerd about 2-3 inches. I got a camber kit and adjusted it out to the point that it's almost perfect but I want to lower it another .5 inch or so. However, if I do this the camber will be off and I can't adjust the camber anymore without the upper control arms hitting that obnoxious little lip in the wheel well. Does anyone have any suggestions on how to get around this WITHOUT having to cut into the wheel well? I was thinking about trying to "pound" it in but was a little unsure of how that would turn out. Please feel free to throw any idea out there, much appreciated.
Thanks all.
Thanks all.
Haha, that definately made me laugh. I would like to attempt to actually do this since there is still room for the car to be lowered and still look clean. If anyone has dealt with this before or heard of it, please let me know what you did or even a possible solution. I'll check cb7tuner to see if anyone there has come to this "speed bump" in the mean time. Can't stop now though, that's like saying "damn, this lug is on tight. Guess I'm not changing that tire afterall."

Never seen lower adjustables for the Accords but I have heard of them for older cars and American cars. Anyone had any experience with the adjustable ball joint kits? I've heard that they wear out pretty quickly and you have to replace them, is this true? I'm thinking I might give those a shot if they don't just wear out in a year or two since my ball joints need to be replaced anyways.

they do slip, all of them do, the better one will not slip when they are brand new but..sooner or later.
the thing is you do not need 0 degree camber, just lower it, a little bit more won't really kill the tires. if you are slamming the using the camber kit, it's gonna cost you more headache with clearance problem.
