Default damn it happened AGAIN...got into another car accident...=(

well....it happened again...if some of you rmember my first accident 3 months ago...it happened again.......this time 4 times worse cause now my car is totaled...my car, my ride, my babyyy..... ...this time a stupid driver stopped suddenly in rush hour to make a left when she was supposed to go inside the two yellow line thingys to make her left so she could wait for cars to stop driving by safely in those yellow lines...the person behind her/him slammed their breaks to avoid...but was lucky that the car made their left to avoid a head on colosion..she still fully stopped and i was behind her slamming on my breaks but was too late...i slammed into her but not as hard as when the car behind me forced my car into her car more...soo i was then sandwitched...my air bags came out and smacked me soooooo damn hard in the face...which blacked me out for a sec...then saw my car smoking like heck....i got out and saw my car was all smashed together...i then looked at the car i hit and the car that hit me and there car was all freaking together still with minor scratches...i looked at the ground and saw all my pieces shattered just blowing away in the wind...they had freakin suv's thas and my car is lowered soo i basically dug under the car infront of me and the car behind me almost went over mee... ...luckilyyyyy, i upgraded to FULL COVERAGE two weeks ago from liability...but i rather put my car together than get a new one cause damn i did a **** load of work to my civic and just got my damn lips and put on and painted not even a week ago and now its blahhh...im just hoping the insurance will give me enough money to put it back together... ...

Wow dude you need to get some paragraphs in there.

Luckily you were ok and not seriously hurt, I know what a bitch it is to get hit like that, I was in an acident with a car with no airbags and hit my head on the steering wheel and blacked out to find everyone else out of there car looking at me and I was like wtf just happened?

Good thing you upgraded your insurence, more then likely the lady who cause the entire mess to begin with will end up paying for everyones stuff, but its doubtfull her insurence will be high enough aka enough insurance so you may have to go tho yours for an underinsured motorist.

As for fixing your car it more then likely cost more then its worth so I doubt there going to pay for that, instead they'll pay you to replace the base value of the car because they also rarely pay for any modifications done to the car unless you have a seperate policy to cover said parts and modifications.

It depends on which insurance company you have. When someone hit me in my car, State Farm paid for the exterior work to be replaced (and there was quite a bit). I doubt they would have paid for the work if they would have totalled the car, though.

There are insurance companies that specifically cover modified vehicles. If you ask your insurance company, they may be able to point you in that direction. Mine did, but I forget the name of the company.

Oh, and btw, sorry about the car. I hope you don't get screwed over like I did with the person who backed into my truck a couple of months ago. Good luck.

learn2drive.. maybe you should pay for some driving courses and learn to not follow people so closely instead of paint matching your lips..?

sorry about your luck, but it could have been avoided if you had followed at a safe distance rather than trying to hit 3rd gear vetc y0! 2 feet from the bumper infront of you.

Sad, but true. No matter if she did take forever to get into the left turn lane, it still could have been avoided but more careful driving. Again, it still really sucks.

yeah you shouldn't follow too closely but i know what you mean about morons doing uncontrollable last minute decisions... both are guilty from my point of view but by law you are since you were following too closely and you should avoid as best as you can especially during the winter

in any case, get rid of that air bag... i've said it many times and will say it again.. that airbag can knock you unconsious in a bad crash where you're already messed up from the crash itself and if there's fire involved or you have to make quick decisions you can't do anything while you're unconscious.. that air bag hits hard...

most of the people who make decisions about airbags and **** like that don't get to experience what they preach since they get driven by limos or fly the planes most of the time... so they have never nor will ever encounter an airbag to their head... for the rest of us fighting it out on the roadways, i'd say get rid of your airbag and add a better seat and seatbelt as a safety precaution

finally, wanna say glad you're okay... i'm sure you'll figure out what to do with the car... if i were you, i'd get a new shell and transfer all your toys to the new shell

good luck

yea...almost all accidents could be avoided...including this one...after it was over i thought how i could of pulled my e-brakes, or switched lanes cause there were no cars...but it was first thing that comes to mind and when you do it, you always think you could pull it off...

i know what you mean by thinking you could have done something about it, like switching lanes or pulling the e, listen to this, i was late going to school last year, and i took the backroads to get to school, and stopped around a blind turn with no hazard signs or nothing to warn me, there was a semi that was stalled, with a mustang behind it, you could see tire marks from the stang, right before i got there they almost hit it, but then i came flying down the roads i have been taking for like 2 years, i was going 55 in a 35, and i took that blind turn and i slammed by brakes and just barely bumped the stang, i got out and surprisingly the stang driver helped me bitch out the people in the semi, then the semi left before the cops got here, i went chasing after them but i couldnt do anything, the girl in the stang just said "dont sweat it" and i had a cracked front bumper, she had like nothing, just goes to show people dont know how to drive, or to be safe, oh yea and to my point, i kept hitting myself caz i wish i had pulled the e or switched lanes, but it was only a single lane, so i could have then hit a car head on, so its only safe to just hit the car, sorry thats long winded, but goodluck
