Looking for DC5 type r tranny? any sellers?
My 02 rsx type s tranny is done for, I probably beat the **** outta this tranny. I need to go type R and call it a day. SOooo if anyone knows where I can buy one, help me, thanx

I hate to tell you this but if you beat the crap out of your USDM Type S gearbox, you're probably going to do the same w/a JDM Type R gearbox.
I don't think there's a difference in the kind of synchros that are used until you get to 2005 MY.
Do you mind if we ask what are the symptoms?

Well, I'm sure any number of people would be glad to sell him a "JDM DC5 Type R" transmission, but it's not going to be any different an experience for him, I'm afraid.
