i got an aem intake, jg header, skunk2 intake manifold, ctr pistons, and greddy sp2 exhaust for my crx. However if I were to do it again I'd get a different header because my dad and I wanted to pass smog legit with it,

I dont know if i would street drive CTR pistons, but i'd street drive Type R pistons. Maybe Toda Bs, even Cs if i was going to run Hondata... SMSP header... Toda valve and spring package... PnP the head... but now it sounds like i'm talking about my christmas list

Thanks but i'm not really into a short rams i'm more into cold air intakes the reason that is because the short ram is mostly on top and doesnt' get that much air dont get me wrong it does get air but it's not as much as the cold air intake in the cold air you get more air and colder

Skip the DC header.

"Wouldn't street the CTR pistons but would do the Type R pistons?"
What do you think the "TR" in "CTR" stands for?

+1 vote Turbo, but you're gonna need to find a tuner....

If you aren't apt enough to pull off a turbo setup, go with CTR cams and pistons, a good exhaust (besides piping diameter, it's all the same), and a top-dollar header.

An intake is an intake. Grab an eBay special or a J's racing knockoff. Intake manifolds are pretty, and pretty unnecessary. Intake manifold gaskets actually do something, good luck getting that bitch back on though.

Forget adjustable cam gears. Spend that money on a good Chrome setup or for food + cash for someone who can hook you up with a good Chrome setup. Most of these modifications are ****-poor without the ignition advance.

There's so many options..This thread can go on 10pages with different things to do..But as far as you ask about intake, cams, and a header..I would suggest ctr or itr cams,,type-r ,or skunk, or blox intake manifold,,Ebay intake,,And a megan 4-2-1 header..

make ur own intake and get a zex nitrous kit (50 or 75) people might disagree but its cheap and noticeable increase in hp

For a CAI, get a cheap *** $5 eBay CAI, then buy a bypass valve and a good filter like AEM or K&N. It'll cost you probably $50 and it will work just as good as any other $150 CAI out there.

CTR or ITR cams and pistons kick serious ***. I would grab some of those for sure. If you wana go turbo though, I'd get some domed pistons instead for lower compression.

DCSports 4-2-1 header is really good. There are probably headers out there that are better (like SMSP) but cost a lot more. You can't go wrong with DCSports I'd say.

As for I.M., I think Venom or Skunk2 is good, but I don't think it's worth it. You can put your money into something else and get better results.

I'd be amazed if you showed a 200whp dyno with bolt ons. I 've been down the "all the bolt ons" route with CTR cams...no 200whp...

pick a bolt on, it was probably on there, even if you have a B17, still don't think it would make 200whp on "bolt ons"
And what does a "nasty tune" consist of? My tunes must have sucked compared to yours
