i was wondering would there b a problem using a k24 w/ a stock Type S ecu?

 

I would guess so, since the extra .4 liters of displacement probably DO make a difference

 

No way you can do that!!! ECU is only about $250.It has to to with Shift points,timing maps etc.

 

ok if you put the whole k24 with the k24 head with type s ecu no you can't because the type s has real vtec and the k24 has bulshit vtec. if you use k24 block with type s head and type s ecu then yea you can. the beat way is just use the k24 block and type s head with ecu.

 

yeah sorry i should of said this earlier but i was talking about the k24 out of the TSX if that helps

 

it does work, but not well, like shift early, and just drive to 7-11 and then get it tuned, not good for a long time SCC had an article on this i think.

 

No, don;t do it.. Unless you are one of these guys that buy rolex but still take the bus to work
