Basically want to know what a stripped 4 door would weight in at... And to what level have you stripped it? I know you guys are out there, so chime in.

Preferably EGs, but EKs are ok to, just anything to give me an idea...

my 4dr weighed in at 2278 stock when I first got it, LX trim, pretty sure it's down to 2200, so you would be correct, lighter than si hatches and ex coupes

2740 lbs WITHOUT me

I'm in the process of stripping off all my dynamat but I'm not sacraficing my A/C, P/S or cruise control. I'd like something between 'all show' and 'shitbox' .

Damn! nice job there man. By fully gutted I imagine no door panels (power accessories gotten rid of), no seats, no trunk panels, no spare, no jack, no anything... just bare metal. dash or no dash?

My 95 LX weighs in at 2375 lbs. I imagine the 98 Ferio EX would be up in the 26xx range? correct? Do you really have a jdm Ferio or is it just your way to call 4Ds? Also, any times from that bad boy?

why do anyone want to gut a sedan? IMO the whole point of a 4 door is to carry passengers because of the extra doors, so your passengers can go in easier. the con is the weight of the extra doors, panels, etc. so i think theres no point of gutting it if you have a sedan

The EK sedan is very nice tho. Of all the Civic sedans, its got the best interior, cause the 7th gen was too echo-ey with the plastics. No comment on the new one. The EK sedan is the BOMB!!

My 96 LX weighs about 2400lbs if that helps.

P.S. Yo funk, your car aint even a compact anymore! haha. over 2700lbs, **** man. Makes for a more comfortable ride. Thats me, subwoofer, tinted windows, power steering, windows, its a cruiser. A B18C would make it like a "sports sedan" haha.

Those of us with sedans who make em fast...it means we got a Sedan and wanted a coupe, but ended up with the sedan but like the car so much that we can't sell it to buy somethin else.

I want a CRX, but can't get myself to sell my car. Shes my first, and shes my girl.

Yeah me too Redline96LX, mine's a cruiser, lowered the right way, exhaust, basic stuff, deck, some junk in the trunk, u know, to entertain the bitches One girl actually asked me: "isn't it the louder the faster the car is?" lmao hahahaha.... classic
I just started the thread to see some actual weights of stripped 4Ds... I agree with civiccoupe94 partly because of the weight issue... That's why I want to start a side project and buy an EG hatch.
