Hey i was thinking about putting a NOS kit on my 93 Civic coupe. What do you guys think about NOS, good or bad? Like is it really that hard on your motor or what?

LOL...man...Nitrous is ok....if you keep it to sane levels...like 60 er so on a dry set up....it's fine....I prefer Turbo, where you have an everlasting supply of boost on tap all the time

 

lol, nah today i talked to my friend has NOS on his truck and ****, and i guess his dad has like a big tank of it that he just like puts some chemical in and it makes the NOS by itself so i could get my stuff filled for free or a minimal price...thats y i was thinkin bout it

No he is my good friend that i have known since like 1st grade but besides that his dad is a drag racer. Like he has a real funny car and is sponsered by Oakley and **** like that.

 

yea man.. nos is great.. it saves the day! just like in the movie!! hey dont worry about cops man.. nos will always be there to make you go faster than any cop car! oh yea!! and if there are dudes chasing you with guns on a motorcycle, you can just hit the nos button and get away!! oh yea!! and get 2 bottles instead of one! cuz it makes it faster! either that or get 4 bottles and a computer labtop! then you can really kick some ***! with nos you can have a jetta keep up with an s2000, so i say get the damn nos! get 4 of them... they do nothing to your engine, unless some gangsters shoot machine guns into it.. then it'll blow up.

 

..i had two composite bottles.. :/ and btw.. most interceptors are limited to 120mph.. my acura cl went faster then that..

 

SOHC + ZEX = 13.5

what you think?

 

If mista bone gots it, it must be good. Remeber that results may vary and 13.5 is pretty damn for a SOHC on the spray.

NOS is a company.
Nitrous on the other hand= IMO. But it is the best bang for the buck.

because if n20 is a joke, so is a turbo, as well as a blower?

n2o is safe as long as you tune it and maintain the engine while spraying. FUEL FUEL FUEL!!!

ya, i dont feel NO2 is a joke in any way...lets setup a race between 2 duplicate cars, mmm lets say two EK hatchbacks with b16a's in em.....one with i/h/e (costing probly around 1100$), and the other with a 60 shot of nitrous (costing probly 600$, plus the fact im always seein people sell used kits for like 350 $ all day long), here is the race: the EK with i/h/e takes off faster than the one with nitrous, then once the EK with NO2 starts sprayin, he would pass the other one and beat him by about 5 car lenths in the 1/4....just my 2 cents

yeah i hate when ppl bash on nos just cause it was in f&f...its quick easy power and it costs alot less than anything else...nos is good as long as you know what yer doing when your using it and you don't go insane with it

 

i was thinking about getting a Venom kit for my Si. Just to have to sneak a few "shock therapy" towards some people.

Other then that...if you want' n20, go for it. BUY IT!! It'll support the economy.

 

yes, but its not cheap for long. If you spray alot, like most young people do because their excited to have it, the cost will add up quick. It's not that cheap if you spray all the time.

 

what the hell do you have to make a SOHC run a 13.5. I've barely seen one get into 14's.

 

well, the guy said he could get refills for really cheap if not for free...

go for it! but like other people said, make sure your fuel can support it. i wouldn't go over 50 shot in my opinion
